This special day is collectively organized by 20+ community members of all ages, hamlets, identities and professions. It is not sponsored by any organization—rather, local residents are independently and organically bringing together a collection of nonprofits, community organizations, student groups, local businesses and other inspired neighbors for a day of celebration and community, supporting the themes of diversity and climate action. Following the success of Pride and Juneteenth, "A Festival for Our Future" will be a hallmark celebration for a community that is equitable, empathetic, inclusive, accessible and sustainable for all residents, present and future.
