Wayne C. Caggiano
Wayne C. Caggiano, 71, of South Salem, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. He was the loving husband of Mrs. Diane (Tiernan) Caggiano.
Mr. Caggiano was born in North Bellmore, NY on March 10, 1948; a son of Albert and Joyce (DeTrafford-Price) Caggiano.
A retired Civil Engineer for the Long Island Railroad, Mr. Caggiano was a resident of South Salem for the past 35 years. In his spare time, he volunteered at the Lewisboro Library and enjoyed the NY Mets and Islanders.
Mr. Caggiano is survived by his wife of 41 years, Diane as well as his two children; Keith Caggiano and his wife, Ashley and Kaylee Kolditz and her husband, John. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Bella, Josh, James and Jonathan; his siblings, Kevin, Kathy, Yvette and Joyce and his mother, Joyce. He was predeceased by his father, Albert, and his sisters, Elaine and Lorraine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church; 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment will follow in South Salem Cemetery, South Salem. Friends will be received on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield.
