According to the official website, International Wheelchair Day is always March 1st and is an annual day of events and activities which take place around the World when wheelchair users celebrate the positive impact a wheelchair has on their lives. Since it was first launched in 2008, celebrations have taken place in Australia, Nepal, Senegal, South Africa, Bangladesh, Pakistan, United Kingdom and United States of America.

Cubby explains, “My wheelchair is an essential tool that helps me succeed at my job. One of the things that I love about working at the Prospector is being able to utilize my talent, aka my sparkle, of writing scripts and making movies. I also like seeing how people react to what I make for the Prospector. When someone with a disability is unable to visit a certain building or participate in something that they want to do, it makes them feel excluded. It’s important for everyone to have access in order to experience life to the fullest.”

Help make the world an accessible place for all!
