Are you interested in volunteering in the community, but don't know where to start? The Lewisboro Library is hosting the 9th annual "Lewisboro Volunteer Fair" on Saturday, March 3 from 11 am to 2 pm.
The Fair is an event that matches local organizations with community members who want to volunteer. Ten agencies will have tables set up at the Library with information on their services and volunteer needs, so people can browse for the best volunteer activity to suit their interest and availability.
New this year will be "Helping Hands" stations for all ages, where people can drop in and make much-needed items to donate to non-profits, such as dog toys for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and also paint uplifting messages on rocks to distribute throughout Lewisboro for our "Kindness Rocks" program.
The Library is located at 15 Main Street in South Salem, NY.
