Wilton League of Women Voters Hosts U.S. Senator Chris Murphy at Opening Lunch Sept. 25th

Wilton, CT — Connecticut’s junior U.S. Senator, Chris Murphy, will be the Wilton League of Women Voters’ guest speaker at its Opening Meeting & Lunch on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Rolling Hills Country Club, 333 Hurlbutt Street in Wilton from 11:30-1:30.  The program includes a brief business meeting and lunch, followed by Senator Murphy’s presentation—Update from Washington DC
 
Senator Murphy was elected to the Senate in 2012 and serves on the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, the Foreign Relations Committee, and the Joint Economic Committee. Prior to his election to the U.S. Senate, Murphy served Connecticut’s Fifth Congressional District for three terms in the U.S. House of Representatives.
