Lewisboro Man Arrested for Domestic Violence

Lewisboro, New York – On January 19, 2019, the New York State Police from the Somers barracks arrested Neil C. Smith, age 40, of Lewisboro, NY, for Assault in the 2nd Degree, a class D felony, Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree, a class E felony, two counts of Menacing in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree, all class A misdemeanors, and Reckless Driving, an unclassified misdemeanor.
 
On January 18, 2019, Troopers responded to a domestic incident on Grandview Road in the Town of Lewisboro.  Investigation revealed Smith arrived unwelcomed at the victim’s residence and engaged in a domestic dispute.  During the incident, Smith is alleged to have menaced two victims, used his vehicle to strike one victim causing non-life-threatening injuries, damaged property belonging to a victim, and then fled the scene prior to police arrival.
 
Smith was arraigned in the town of Lewisboro Court, and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or bond.  Smith is scheduled to appear in the Court on January 28, 2019, at 6:30 p.m.
