The Christmas Tree at Rockerfeller Center to be Donated to Habitat for Humanity

For the ninth consecutive year, the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center will be donated to Habitat for Humanity. Once the holidays have passed and the tree is taken down, it will be milled, treated and made into lumber for Habitat for Humanity homes.

Each year since 2006, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree continues to be a symbol of hope beyond the holiday season. In fact, the tree inspired the children's book, "The Carpenter's Gift," written by David Rubel.
