Annual BGV Golf Tournament to benefit at-risk children & their families

Final Reminder: 41st Annual Boys & Girls Village Golf and Tennis Tournament 
is Monday, June 6, 2016, at Race Brook Country Club

Boys & Girls Village will present the 41st Annual Golf and Tennis Tournament on June 6, 2016, at the Race Brook Country Club, Orange, Connecticut, and The Paugussett Tennis Club, also in Orange.  The event is also known as the Dan & Yolanda Adley Memorial Golf Tournament.  Event Co-Sponsor is BIC Corp., and Title Sponsor is Bismark Construction Company.  Tournament banquet emcee is Bill Iovanne, Jr., owner of Iovanne Funeral Home in New Haven.  All player spots have been filled, but BGV is still accepting donations for the raffle and silent auction, as well as items to include in the Golfer swag bags. Tournament proceeds benefit Connecticut’s most vulnerable children and families served. Children at Boys & Girls Village often have experienced significant trauma, neglect or other types of emotional or social difficulties. BGV provides pathways of care for children and families through behavioral health, permanency planning, education and vocational services at its Milford and Bridgeport locations.

In association with the Golf Tournament, the Pro-Am Tennis Tournament ‘Rally for the Children’ will also take place again this year at the Paugusset Club.
