United Way of Milford's Community Builders Recognition Dinner on April 26

The United Way of Milford will be holding its annual Community Builders Recognition Dinner on Wednesday, April 26, at Costa Azzurra Restaurant in Milford from 5:30-7:30 p.m. At the Dinner, the United Way will honor those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service within the Milford community, as well as organizations and individuals who have contributed to the success of the 2016-17 Campaign. 

This year’s “Stars of Milford” honorees are:

• Marcy Winkel (Lifetime Achievement Award),
• Roberta Nestor (Spirit of Milford Award),
• Kevin McGrath (Meeting Critical Needs Award),
• Joan Canavan (Strengthening Families Award),
• Jorge Santiago (Champion of Caring Award),
• Susan Patrick (Distinguished Service Award),
• Food 2 Kids (Nurturing Children Award), and 
• Dominic Buccitti (Youth Leadership Award).

The Masters of Ceremonies for this event will be Heidi Voight and Ted Koppy, co-anchors of NBC Connecticut. The event will be generously sponsored by the law firm of Carroll, Curseaden & Moore.
