Upon passage of the FY 2023-2024 budget for the City of Milford, Mayor Rich Smith released the following statement:
Following in the footsteps of Mayor Blake's remarkable record of fiscal responsibility and effective city governance, this year's budget delivers for the City of Milford.
I am proud to say that this budget will maintain our excellent city services, keep all Milford schools open and thriving, and hold true to the fiscal restraint that Milford residents expect.
My sincerest thanks to the Board of Aldermen, Board of Education, Dr. Anna Cutaia, and the citizens of Milford for a collaborative, productive process. Together, we have ensured that Milford will remain a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
