Milford Police report Sexual Assault arrest

On June 19, 2023, the Milford Police Department received a report of sexual abuse of a juvenile victim which occurred in Milford between 2019 and 2021.

An investigation was conducted by the Department’s Special Investigations Unit and the State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Anthony Lake allegedly did have inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile victim in Milford, starting in 2019 and ending in 2021.

On July 5th, at 12:00 p.m., Anthony Lake was taken into custody after a warrant for his arrest was issued by Milford Superior Court.

Anthony Lake, 46, of Overton Avenue was arrested and charged with:

Aggravated Sexual Assault 1st Degree (2 Counts)

Sexual Assault 1st Degree

Rick of Injury to a Minor (3 Counts)

Anthony Lake was held on a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on July 6, 2023.
