Bridges Healthcare’s annual cycling and walking fundraising event, Folks on Spokes & Step Forward Ride + Walk, is planned for Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 8:00 am to 1 pm at Fowler Field in downtown Milford.
Each year for more than 30 years, hundreds of cyclists and walkers have joined together to raise funds and awareness for mental health and addiction recovery services for children, families, and adults. Participants of all ages can choose from a number of scenic CT coastline routes, including a 5K for walkers and 5, 10, 20 or 40 miles for cyclists.
Event registration fees are $50 per cyclist, $35 per walker, and $15 for kids under 18, including a free t-shirt. Children 5 and under are free. Day-of fees are $55 per cyclist and $45 per walker.
