Assault Arrest
On Saturday, September 2, 2023, the victim was with friends at Stonebridge Café located at 50 Daniel Street. With no advance warning, a male punched the victim in the face. The attack was unprovoked, and the victim was defenseless and “blindsided” by the punch.
The victim sustained serious and significant injuries. The male was identified as Samuel Deangelis, 25, of 82 North Benham Road, Seymour. He was arrested and charged with:
Assault 2nd Degree
Breach of Peace 2nd Degree
Deangelis was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on October 3, 2023.
