On September 2, 2023, at 5:04pm, a motor vehicle accident involving a scooter was reported near Depot Road and Russell Road.
An initial investigation revealed that the operator of a Yamaha Scooter had been traveling north on Depot Road near Russell Road prior to the collision. The accident in currently under investigation.
The operator of the scooter, identified as Scott Wolf, 37, was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On September 4, 2023, Wolf died as a result of his injuries.
