Local Bakery doing their part - Support for Autism Awareness "FUN" Raiser

The Emerald Bakery in Milford, CT is doing their part to support Autism. Every window of their New Haven Ave location displays a flyer in support of the August 17th Event: "Autism Awareness "Fun" Raiser". This event is a collaboration between the Bridgeport Bluefish, and the Montano Assistive Technology Center (MATC) in an effort to help celebrate Autism Awareness with a fun-filled night at Harbor Yard.

The Autism Awareness event includes a Bluefish Game, Fireworks, a Parade, Music, and more. Anyone interested in attending or finding out more information can call MATC at 203-333-3366, or visit them on Facebook.  The Montano Assistive Technology Center is a center for individuals with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, neuromuscular/neurological, and all other disabilities. They offer a state of the art center that combines technology with sensory breaks to create innovative language-based learning.

EVENT:  Saturday, August 17th, 2013:  The Bluefish Game is at 6:05 PM, gates open at 5:05 PM.  Pitch to the Bluefish, march in the pre-game parade and high-five the players - These are just a few of the opportunities available when you purchase tickets through MATC.  Tickets are $13.50, with $5.00 of each sale supporting the Montano Assistive Technology Center.
