

Looking for a great workout? Registration is now open for the 5th Annual Step Up For The Brave Stair Climb Challenge. On Saturday, September 14, participants will exercise for a cause, navigating a guided course in the Webster Bank Arena while raising critical funds for Connecticut’s homeless veterans.
The cost to register is just $35, which includes an event shirt, light breakfast, and a medal. The Climb starts at 9am and finished by 12pm. The event is open to those ages 8 and up, and everyone is encouraged to participate. Visit https://www.homesforthebrave.org/stepup to sign-up today.
To add to the fun, prizes will be awarded to the top climbers in the following brackets: 15 and Under, Female 16-30, Male 16-30, Female 31-45, Male 31-45, Female 46 and Above, Male 46 and Above. Participants can join as individuals or in teams, and individuals who raise $100 or more are entered to win a grand prize. Webster Bank Arena is located at 600 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT.

The 5th Annual Step Up For The Brave Stair Climb Challenge is the signature fundraiser for the Bridgeport-based nonprofit, Homes for the Brave. For nearly 20 years, the organization has been dedicated to providing safe housing, case management, life skills coaching and vocational services to homeless individuals, primarily Veterans. In January, they expanded to add mental health treatment to their offerings
