Beth-El Center Receives Mattress Donation from Leesa Sleep

Beth-El Center recently received a donation of 34 mattresses from Leesa Sleep, a US-based company that makes mattresses and bedding. This is part of Leesa’s One in Ten program where they donate one mattress for every ten they sell.

As part of this new partnership, Leesa replaced all of the beds in our Shelter and committed to providing mattresses for all of our clients who are placed in supportive and permanent housing in the future.

We are absolutely thrilled that every guest in our shelter program has been provided with a brand-new mattress and a wonderful night's sleep,” according to Beth-El  Center Director of Development, Troy Gonda. “The men, women, and families we serve are working so hard to achieve their goals, and having a good night’s rest is critical for their well-being and their success. We never take for granted how important it is to have your own comfortable place to lay your head every night, and we are so grateful to our compassionate friends at the Leesa Sleep Mattress Company for their kindness and generosity."

Beth-El Center’s 90-day Emergency Shelter Program offers a clean, safe and stable environment in which residents are provided the support that will assist them in finding housing.

Our Shelter Program consists of dorm-style living for single men and single women. Beth-El also has six individual rooms for families with children.  During their stay, all of our clients work with a case manager to develop individualized goals while learning how to access community resources.
