Milford's Summer 18 Coastal Series

The Milford Concert Band announces the “Summer 18 Coastal Series” concerts for this, the 26^th year as the Official Band of the City of Milford, CT.

Our annual “Harbor Lights/ Summer Nights” show kicks off the summer concert season at the Rotary Pavilion at Fowler Field on Friday, June 22, at 7:00pm, in conjunction with the Milford Chamber of Commerce.

This year’s feature piece is the Randall Bass symphonic band arrangement of Casey at the Bat, with the classic poem narrated by Milford luminary and current Milford Rotary Club president, Win Smith.  We’ll also perform a variety of pop, jazz, Broadway, patriotic and family fun favorites with our beautiful harbor as a background

On Monday, June 4 at 7:00pm we are hosting a “student musician rehearsal” at Lisman Landing.  We encourage local high school musicians to participate and have some Scoopy Doos ice cream with us after.
