Bridgeport Pride Celebration on Thursday, July 19 with the 8th Same-Sex Art Exhibit Reception, BPT Pride Walk 

City Lights, WPKN radio and the Bijou Theatre host the 3rd Annual Bridgeport Pride Celebration on Thursday, July 19.  Enjoy food, drink and DJ at a Happy Hour art exhibit reception and patio party at City Lights, sponsored by the Triangle Community Center and Dave Ivanko and John Brannelly. Gather at the Broad St Steps for the Bridgeport Pride Walk beginning at 8pm, circling McLevy Green and ending at the Bijou Theatre where Delores Degage hosts a spectacular variety show-fundraiser. Proceeds benefit City Lights/Bridgeport Art Trail, WPKN and the Bijou Theatre.

Bridgeport Pride celebration begins with art exhibit reception hosted at City Lights Gallery, followed by a Pride Walk to McLevy Green and then a Variety Show at the Bijou Theatre CT.

City Lights & Company is nonprofit organization that serves the community through art and lead organizer of the Bridgeport Art Trail and Make Music Day-Bpt.

WPKN radio, 89.5 FM is a community-based, listener supported radio station. Studios are on the campus of the University of Bridgeport, CT.

8TH Annual SAME-SEX Art Exhibit:

Exhibit annually reflects the current zeitgeist of the LGBTQ community, their friends, family, neighbors and allies. Artists need not be gay to participate.
