Thinking of a vacation? How about Italy! Who doesn’t love the food, the architecture, the way of life? On April 10 at 6:30pm, take a stroll through Italy with presenter Mariann Millard. Millard will “walk” participants through the richness and diversity of Italy to appreciate its geography, language, cuisine, culture, politics and economics.
The presentation is designed to be lively, humorous and engaging, to understand not only Italy’s complex past and present culture, but also its future. Participants wishing to travel to Italy will leave with a better understanding of how to travel successfully among Italians to fully enjoy their experience.
Mariann, who holds dual citizenship with the US & Italy, will enhance the experience by including tidbits on her personal family history, her work as an International Tour Director, finding long-lost Italian relatives, and learning and speaking Italian as an adult.
