Lear How To Combat Garden Pests with Organic Controls at Milford Public Library on May 22

Attention gardeners! Everyone in Milford is looking to make our city clean and green! Whether you’re a flower or vegetable gardener (or both!), there comes a time when the insects need to be discouraged. There are simple homemade concoctions that can help – without poisoning all the “good” bugs. And there are also some organic products; the problem is, which ones are safe and which ones are not?

You can learn a lot about this at Milford Public Library on May 22 at 6:30pm. Master gardener Rachel Ziesk will teach us the best ways to preserve our bounty without harming the ecology.   She is a lively, engaging speaker with an amazing breadth of knowledge. The program is co-hosted by Milford Public Library and the Benson-Crump Community Gardens Program.

Free. Lights refreshments served.
