Parents who diligently check their engine fluids and tire pressure before making car trips – whether it’s a lengthy vacation or a short hop to the grocery story -- should add one more thing to their checklist: their child passenger safety seats.
That’s because nearly three-quarters of all car seats are misused or improperly installed, reports the American Academy of Pediatrics.
To teach parents how to properly install their car seat and to mark National Child Passenger Seat Month, AAA Northeast is sponsoring a free car seat clinic September 23 for members and non-members.
