Downtown Milford’s Hall-O-Weekend Fall Festival is Back This Weekend

Family-Friendly Fun at Hall-O-Weekend Fall Festival This Weekend

The Downtown Milford Business Association is hosting their annual Hall-O-Weekend Fall Festival with an expanded roster of activities for family-friendly fun for all ages.

This year’s event takes place on the Green on  Friday, Oct 25 at 6pm and Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10am - 2pm, Hall-O-Weekend makes good use of Downtown Milford’s natural New England charm. New for this year, the Friday night lineup will include Ghost Walks with the Spirits Of Milford at 6pm, popcorn and a screening of Hocus Pocus on the Green at 7pm, and the Hall-O-Stroll—a walk around downtown to view the spookily-painted windows of participating stores.

The fun continues on Saturday with a not-so-scary story time with the Milford Public Library in the Gazebo, music with radio personality Brian Smith, costume contests for babies, kids, adults, and pets, crafts and activities sponsored by Arciuolo’s, and 17 candy stops for trick-or-treaters at participating stores. New for this year, the Gymnastics & Cheerleading Academy of CT is sponsoring a children’s hay maze on the Milford Green.

“We’re so thrilled to see this event grow every year,” said DMBA President Tracy Bonowsconi. “We love being able to create memories for families in our charming New England town. And all of our participating businesses, vendors, and our sponsors, like Gymnastics & Cheerleading Academy, Milford Photo, and Arciuolo’s help make it happen.”

The DMBA’s mission is to bring attention to the downtown landscape and all the unique amenities it has to offer both residents and day visitors. While participants are downtown, they’re encouraged to vote for their favorite painted window by snapping a photo and sharing it online with the hashtag #votehallowindow.

Hall-O-Weekend is scheduled to start at 6pm on Friday, 10/25 and from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturday, Oct. 26, and takes place in Downtown Milford. Painted windows include: Scratch Baking, Los Cabos, The Lovet Shop, Whispers, Stacy Blake Realty, Duck Duck Goose, Eli’s Tavern, Colony Pizza, Cafe Window, and Inside Living Style. Trick or Treat stops include: Canvas Patch, Duck Duck Goose, Scratch Baking, Los Cabos, The Lovet Shop, Frosty Twist, Whispers, Impopnito, Stacy Blake Realty, Eli’s Tavern, Island Time, Sophie Claire’s, Atomic Kid Studio, Inside Living Style, Hawkwood Games, Colony Pizza, and Arciulo’s.
