Picture-Perfect Holiday Fun in Downtown Milford on Dec. 6

The DMBA to Host 18th Annual Lamplight Stroll

The Downtown Milford Business Association is hosting their 18th annual Lamplight Stroll and invites families, friends, and children of all ages to come enjoy a nostalgic holiday event. This year, the event has grown larger with live music, a gingerbread bounce house, carolers, carriage rides, and of course, pictures with Santa. Best of all, all activities are free.

Scheduled for Friday, December 6, from 5 - 9 p.m., the Lamplight Stroll is designed to bring members of the community together for an evening of yuletide shopping and fun. To make the even more festive, participants are encouraged to pick up a Lamplight Stroll Passport—those that have their passport stamped by all the member businesses will be entered to win a fabulous holiday gift basket worth $500.

“Downtown Milford is all lit up and is simply picture-perfect during the holidays,” said DMBA president Tracy Bonosconi. “We are so thrilled to have Ethan Allen of Milford help make the Lamplight Stroll even better—especially since they represent the quintessential style and taste of New England.”

The DMBA’s mission is to create free events for all to enjoy. Downtown Milford has enjoyed a resurgence of new shops, salons, and restaurants along with established local favorites. Located right on the harbor, the historic downtown is a destination long known by locals and surrounding communities for its New England charm and easy access to area beaches.

The Lamplight Stroll sponsored by Ethan Allen is scheduled from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Friday, December 6, and takes place across the downtown Milford business district. Participants can pick up a Lamplight Passport at Scratch Baking, Frosty Twist, or the Milford Chamber of Commerce starting on December 2, or on the Green the day of the event.
