Neighbors helping neighbors, community members reaching out to our local senior citizens, residents supporting our heroic first responders -the inspiring stories and acts of kindness brought forth by our current crisis are extraordinary. What's more, small businesses, local nonprofits, and civic organizations are innovating to stay connected and serve the community.
Community is not Canceled, a series made possible by LIFEWTR will showcase Connecticut's awesome response to this unprecedented situation. We are in this together. Stay strong.
Calling all Milford kids! Christ Presbyterian Church, Milford is hosting "Drive-By" Easter Egg Hunt.
To participate:
1. Make an egg (at least 8.5x11--large enough to be visible from the street), and place it in a window of your home or business, in your yard, on a tree, post, etc.
2. Take a picture of the egg and post it as a comment on the official video on our Facebook page, (http://www.facebook.com/CPCMilford), together with your street name: we'll enter you in a raffle for one of the great prizes Milford businesses and organizations are donating! (Raffle winners will be announced Monday after Easter).
3. Go egg hunting! Let us know in the video comments how many eggs you found!
Scheduled from now through Easter Sunday, April 12th, the event takes place all over town.
Christ Presbyterian Church is also looking for sponsors who wish to promote their business by donating something they offer to the raffle.
Christ Presbyterian Church, Milford is a new, local church who's mission is to create community, provide stability, bring reconciliation, and love our city well.
