Milford Mayor Blake Invites Community to Virtual September 11th Remembrance Ceremony

The City of Milford will remember the events of September 11, 2001 on Friday, September 11, 2020 with a virtual ceremony on Facebook and YouTube at 8:46am, the time the first plane struck New York’s World Trade Center.  The event, hosted by Mayor Benjamin G. Blake, Fire Chief Douglas Edo, and Police Chief Keith Mello, will feature remarks from State Senator James Maroney, State Representative Charles Ferraro, and State Representative Kathy Kennedy.

In Milford, we remember victims Michael Miller and Avnish Patel, both graduates of Live Oaks School, as well as Seth Morris, who was a student at Mathewson School

Mayor Ben Blake invites all residents to virtually attend the ceremony and to take a moment of pause and remembrance in honor of those who died and those who participated in rescue efforts on that tragic day.
