Spring Soiree in Downtown Milford
The Downtown Milford Business Association is hosting a “Spring Soirée,” a new, fashion-focused outdoor event in Downtown Milford on Sunday, May 16. The Soirée includes an outdoor fashion show featuring the latest styles from local boutiques along Harbor Walk, refreshments and charcuterie boxes from Nate’s Plates, desert from Micalizzi’s Italian Ice, and mini-experiences in each participating business, such as tarot readings, mini-facial LED treatments, organic airbrush face tans, and more.
“We are so excited to bring this fresh, fun event to Downtown Milford,” said Makayla Silva, DMBA Event Director. “The Spring Soirée showcases the best our boutiques have to offer in a fun and glamorous atmosphere. Everyone is truly excited to get dressed up, do a little shopping, enjoy some special treats, and most importantly, socialize safely."
The Spring Soirée is a ticketed event—one which organizers hope to bring back year after year. “The timing is perfect,” said Tracy Bonosconi, DMBA President. “After the year we’ve had, it’s a wonderful way for the community to enjoy a little glamour and support small businesses at the same time. We hope to make the Spring Soirée a yearly signature event, like Pirate’s Day and Wine Trail, and to see our downtown retail district continue to grow stronger.”
Tickets for the Spring Soirée cost $25 and participating businesses in the Soirée include E’LAN by Dominique Renee, Island Time, Inside Living Style, The Lovet Shop, Makeup Makeup by Kristina Foreman, Sophie Claire’s, SunSpray Tans, S.V.
