Get Halloween Ready with True Ghost Stories on Connecticut at Milford Library

Milford Public Library ends October with author Charles Rosenay telling tales from his newest book, "True Ghost Stories of Connecticut" on Thursday, October 27th at 7:00pm. This program will get you ready for your Halloween celebrations!

It's time to get in the Halloween spirit with a few ghost stories! Area entertainer Charles F. Rosenay, whose long-time Beatles connections and productions are well-chronicled in the area (and beyond), has focused his attention of late to more macabre promotions. His most current book is “True Ghost Stories of Connecticut,” and the title says it all.

In this new release, some of Connecticut’s best-known paranormal investigators, psychics, mediums, and ghost-hunters join everyday people in sharing their most memorable, scariest, and most unbelievable – but true - stories of the supernatural. Other books in the past may present a history of Connecticut’s haunted places, but this new collection tells actual stories of what happened at such notorious locations as the Ansonia Opera House, Sterling Opera House, Old New-gate Prison, Robbins Swamp, New Haven Center Church, Dudleytown, Fairfield Hills Asylum, area cemeteries, along with private residences. Discover the “Demon House of Derby,” New Haven’s “Pink Lady,” and so many terrifying and shocking stories that may keep readers awake nights… and probably change their mind if they don’t already believe. Copies of the book will be for sale.
