Meet the Bees! With the Back Yard Beekeepers
Wednesday, June 21 at 6:30pm at the Milford Public Library
Come to check out a frame of working bees in the Back Yard Beekeepers Association’s observation hive, taste local honey and learn about how bees communicate, how honeybees are used in agriculture, the structure of a managed hive, honeybee anatomy, threats to this insect and industry and how beekeeping practices differ throughout the world. Participants can touch, taste, see, smell, and learn about these important pollinators and all that they make and do for us! Presented by Tammi Worsham of the Back Yard Beekeepers Association.
