Splash Pad at Eisenhower Park in Milford Open on July 4th
Mayor Blake is thrilled to announce the splash pad at Eisenhower Park will be open to the public on July 4, 2018 at noon. The splash pad is the latest upgrade to the park, following the recent addition of eight pickleball courts. The park is filled with recreational amenities such as walking trails, tennis courts, a playground, softball fields and more.
“It’s a great addition to a park where there are all kinds of activities,” says Mayor Blake, who also adds that these enhancements “would not be possible without the hard-working team at Public Works along with various others. “Eisenhower is truly a community centerpiece of which we can all be proud.”
For pickleball beginners, an educational session is planned for Monday, July 9th from 12PM-4PM to give new players the necessary introduction to the game. Certified pickleball coaches will be on location with equipment for the public to come out and give it a try.
