Norwalk, CT – After postponing the 2020 Chowdafest event this year, the new Chowda Club was designed with the goal of providing the Chowdafest experience at home by shipping two different chowders each month. The club successfully launched last month and is proud to announce the two new chowders for November.
The goal is to offer Club favorite chowders plus introduce new restaurants that earned the right to be invited to Chowdafest. This month, Dunville’s from Westport is one of the featured soups as it has won Chowdafest four times and placed on four other occasions. The Club is using the recipe for its Louisiana Seafood Chowder, an in-house favorite.
New to Chowdafest is The Mason Jar Exchange, from New Haven, which wowed Chowdafest earlier this year with a unique spinach artichoke Parmesan soup. “We discovered their soup and it tasted just like the appetizer which we love so much,” said Jim Keenan, Chowdafest Chairman. “We invited them to compete in Chowdafest before it got postponed but we’re thrilled that everyone still gets to experience their soup.”
