Pantochino Announces Open Call Auditions for New Musicals in Downtown Milford

Award-winning Pantochino Productions Inc, a professional not for profit theatre company, will hold open call auditions for it’s 2018-19 season on September 11 and 12 from  6 to 9 pm at the MAC (Milford Arts Council), 40 Railroad Avenue South in Downtown Milford.

Co-producers Bert Bernardi and Jimmy Johansmeyer are seeking adult male and female comic actors who sing for leading roles, teen actors for feature roles, and boys and girls 8-12 years old for feature roles in holiday musical. Season includes three new musicals; “Beat Bugs: A Musical Adventure” (October 2018), “Glitz! The Little Miss Christmas Pageant Musical” (December 2018), Pantochino’s “POW!” Original Works Festival (March 2019)  and “The Waffle House Five” (April/May 2019).

“In addition to adult lead actors, we are especially looking for girls 9-12 years old to play the featured contestants in our “Glitz!” Musical,” said Bernardi. “We also have one spot for a boy,” he added.

Those auditioning should prepare two songs (up-tempo and ballad), bring sheet music in proper key (accompanist provided), and also bring recent photo and resume or list of recent theatrical credits. Non-singing adult actors may prepare a short, contemporary comedic monologue. No appointment needed.
