The Milford Police Citizens Academy offers 30 hours of information and instruction designed to provide the public with knowledge and understanding of the police department’s personnel, policies, and practices. The program is comprehensive, covering different areas of the police department services each week. Officers and supervisors conduct each informational session.

Requirements to Apply 2019 Graduating Class
Age: 21 years of age
Citizenship: Must be US citizen.
Qualification: Must be of good moral character. Be of good physical condition. Have not been convicted of a felony, class A or class B misdemeanor.
Class: The class will be limited to 25 students.
Application deadline is January 23, 2020
The sessions will be held Thursday evenings, 6:30 - 9:00 PM, February 6, 2020 through April 23, 2020 at Police Headquarters & Milford Police Training Facility, 59 Devonshire Road in Milford, CT.
