Congratulations to Marianne Croffy, Administrative Assistant with the City’s Finance Department, for being selected as Employee of the Month for January 2021.
As the recipient of the award for the Mayor’s Employee of the Month Program, please join us in extending a warm congratulation to Marianne in receiving this recognition. After a review of all of the nominations, the Selection Committee unanimously chose her as the winner for her outstanding work ethic, dedicated service, teamwork and willingness to always go above and beyond expectation.
Marianne began her employment with the City on July 31, 2006, in the position of Administrative Assistant with the Finance Department. In addition to providing support to the Finance Director, Marianne is instrumental in maintaining the MUNIS budget system, Chart of Accounts and Project Accounting System. She processes invoices, works with the BOE regarding school construction project invoices and purchase orders. Marianne assists the Finance Director and city departments throughout the budget process.
She provides administrative support to the Board of Finance, ensuring proper documentation is distributed, posted and filed. Marianne’s administration of the 457 Savings Plan for the city ensures that employees receive prompt responses to questions and processing pertinent documents.
Marianne is the point of contact for the Finance Office. She is readily available to provide assistance for any question, be it simple or complex. She can be counted on for clear and concise guidance given in a knowledgeable manner, with a lightheartedness that will put one at ease.
Marianne performs all of her responsibilities with professionalism and outstanding customer service. She embodies the characteristics of an employee the City of Milford values. These are just a few of the many reasons the Mayor extends his sincere congratulations and appreciation to Marianne for the outstanding attributes she exhibits as Employees of the Month.
