Milford Fire Department's Maureen Hawkins Makes History as First Female Apparatus Operator

Congratulations to Milford Fire Department firefighter, Maureen Hawkins who is the first female apparatus operator in the Department!

Milford Fire Department explains:

After completing an extensive training program consisting of over 100 hours of apparatus driver/operator skills, Firefighter and Paramedic Maureen Hawkins is cleared to drive fire apparatus.

Firefighter and Medic Hawkins is the first female to conquer the apparatus operator position within the Milford Fire Department.
