The Giggling Pig Opens Third Location in Milford

The Giggling Pig is thrilled to announce the opening of its third location in Milford on May 3rd! An award-winning art studio for children of all ages, The Giggling Pig Milford will offer art classes, after-school enrichment programs, birthday parties, special events and camps and provide a space where creativity and curiosity flourish.

Celebrating 11 years of guiding kids and families through everything from drawing and painting to sculpting and crafting, The Giggling Pig opened its first location in Shelton in 2011 by Hannah Perry.

Taking its name from a children’s storybook wrote and illustrated by Perry called The Giggling Pig and Friends, the love of whimsy and playfulness inspires everything inside The Giggling Pig studio—in all four of its locations.

Tucked in the Walnut Beach Arts and Business District, the Milford location of The Giggling Pig will offer children’s birthday parties, art lessons, drop-in studio hours, seasonal camps and adult paint night events.

Milford native, Makayla Silva will be opening the newest location of the art studio in May on Naugatuck Avenue.

“Growing up as a child who loved art (and couldn’t get enough of it) my parents were always seeking opportunities for me to learn and be exposed to the arts, taking classes from the kitchen tables of some incredible Milford artists,” Silva says. “Now, as a Milford mother of two, I quickly realized a need in the Milford community for arts programming for children. I’ve known Hannah for 10 years, taking my own children to her Shelton studio and was thrilled to have the opportunity to open a Giggling Pig in Milford.”

The Milford location will open the first week of May, with a grand opening celebration held on Friday, May 6^th from 2-5pm. Information about classes, camps, workshops and parties is available at www.thegigglingpig.com
