Milford Public Library 2019 April Program Calendar

April Programs at Milford Library

Spring is bringing a bounty of new programs to the library! Learn about fly fishing and how to cast (this is a hands on workshop!), attend Tuesday movie showings of Oscar-nominated films, and let Milford's Poet Laureate, Mick Theebs, help you connect with your inner poet for National Poetry Month.  We welcome the Milford Prevention Council with their program, Hidden in Plain Sight, which helps adults learn about teen drug and alcohol trends, and are proud to present, with our partners The MIlford Chapter of Moms Demand Action, Milford Speaks Out and the CT Chapter of the National Organization for Women, a free screening of the documentary, Newtown

We invite you to stop by and visit our newest offering - City Perks!  This cafe, serving coffeee, tea and snacks, is run by the Milford Board of Education's Fifth Year Vocational Experience Program and is open Monday-Thursday 10:00am-1:00pm.  The library has coffee, tea and cocoa available for sale when City Perks is closed.
