Milford Public Library 2020 May Program Calendar

While we remain closed to the public, we are excited to re-introduce some services.

We have re-opened the outside book return at our lower level entrance. Returned materials will be quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours before being checked in and removed from your patron account.  You are still welcome to keep any library materials you have until we re-open, and you will not be charged any overdue fines.  We are opening the outside return so that staff can begin processing what we anticipate will be a heavy volume of items.

We will also be introducing curbside pickup the week of May 18! We are still finalizing the plans, but pickup will initially be by appointment only.  Staff will be contacting patrons with items currently on hold to schedule a time.  No in-person hold requests can be made - the only items available for pick-up will be items placed on hold through our online catalog or via telephone or email request. You will be limited to five items at a time. Check our website, milfordlibrary.org, for updates to this service.  We do ask for your patience at this time.  This is a new service for us, and as we work to get it running in a manner that is safe for you and our staff, we may need to make procedural changes.

We have begun filling our calendar with online programs - everything from book discussion groups and storytimes to magicians!

If you need a library card to access our collection of ebooks, e-audiobooks, and e-magazines, Milford residents can register for our Digital Access card. Contact the library at 203-783-3290, or go to our catalog and click on the Get a Library Card link to start the process (Note: This link may not be available on your mobile device).

On behalf of all the staff, I want to say how much we miss you! YOU are the heart of the library, and we miss our daily interactions with each one of you.  Please enjoy this brief video created by staff - we hope to see you soon! In the meantime, Stay Safe, Stay Home and Be Well. #TogetherMilford.
