With the 2017 holiday travel period fast approaching, the Milford Police Department will be participating in wave 53 of the Connecticut Department of Transportation High Visibility Safety Belt/Child Safety Seat “Click it or Ticket” Campaign.
This statewide campaign will begin on November 20, 2017 and continue through November 27, 2017. Milford Police will be continuing their high visibility enforcement efforts regarding children restrained in child safety seats and seat belt usage among vehicle occupants. Police efforts will include safety checkpoints in various locations of the city, as well as educational material being available through the department’s Crime Prevention Unit.
