Milford Police report 127 cell phone violations in August

2018 Distracted Driving High Visibility Enforcement Campaign

The Milford Police Department completed their Distracted Driving High Visibility Enforcement Campaign, which resulted in 127 violations that were addressed during the month of August 2018.

Under Connecticut’s cell phone and texting law, violations involve heavy fines, ranging from $150 for a first offense, $300 for a second violation, and $500 for each subsequent violation.
