Milford's Mobil Gas Station Robbed, Police Seek to ID Suspect

On Sunday, January 27, 2019 at approximately 2:20am Milford Police Department responded to a burglary alarm at the Mobil Gas Station, 300 Bridgeport Avenue.

Officers arrived and found the front door glass had been ripped off and was lying on the ground outside the building. Video surveillance footage showed the suspect quickly ran into the store carrying a large plastic garbage can and loaded it with cigarettes from behind the counter. The suspect also took money from the cash register before he ran out.

The suspect is believed to have left the scene in a dark colored vehicle possibly a station wagon which was waiting for the suspect on the adjacent street. The suspect is a male wearing a black jacket with the hood over his head, a ski mask, gloves, gray pants and black and white sneakers.
