Milford Police Car Stop Leads to Narcotics Arrests

On March 30, 2019, the Milford Police Department TAC Unit was conducting anti-crime patrol in the area of Boston Post Road and Red Bush Lane.

Detectives observed suspicious activity and initiated a motor vehicle stop. The operator of the vehicle, Toni Bartomeli (W/F, 23) 444 Webb Circle, Monroe, was found to be in possession of an amount of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

A subsequent probable cause search of the vehicle and the passenger, Taron Stokes (B/M, 39) 1277 Rubber Avenue, Naugatuck, resulted in the seizure of heroin and crack cocaine pre-packaged for sale.

Stokes is charged with: Possession of Narcotics Possession with Intent to Sell

Bartomeli is charged with: Possession of Narcotics Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Stokes was held on a $20,000 bond to appear in Milford Court on April 1, 2019.

Bartomeli was released on a Promise to Appear in Milford Court on April 23, 2019.
