Milford Police Make Catalytic Converter Theft Arrest

On August 21, 2021, a local business had several catalytic converters stolen off company vehicles, for a total loss of $12,500.

Milford Police Detectives conducted an investigation which led to evidence that Yamil Burgos, 26, of 18 Portland Street, Middletown, was an active participant in the thefts.

A warrant was issued for Burgos’ arrest. This is the third arrest made in this case. Burgos was taken into custody on September 6, 2022, released on a Promise to Appear and will be in Milford Court on October 4, 2022.

Burgos was charged with:

Larceny 2nd Degree

Criminal Mischief 1st

Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 2nd

Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Mischief 1st
