Local Dunkin Donuts Donates to Support Homeless Shelter and Soup Kitchen in Milford

The newly renovated Dunkin Donuts on 214 Woodmont Road in Milford recently presented the Beth-El Center with a check for $5,000 as part of their grand re-opening event on September 8, 2022.

Franchise owners Alex Dipietro and Margaret Bagueiro oversee five Dunkin Donuts locally, providing jobs and training, and have a passion to support local causes related to homelessness and food insecurity. Their donation to the Beth-El Center will directly support our housing and food programs to end homelessness and hunger in the greater Milford community.

“This gift comes at a time when, as we transition out of the pandemic, we see government funding supports coming to an abrupt end and more households in crisis,” says Troy Gonda, Beth-El Center Director of Development. “This generous donation from Dunkin Donuts will directly fund Beth-El Center’s housing and food programs that help people in the greater Milford area who are struggling.

The Beth-El Center is a recognized leader in caring for and meeting the needs of those experiencing hunger and homeless in the greater Milford area. The Center serves individuals and families by providing emergency shelter, outreach and case management services which offer support and assistance during a crisis and a path to self-sufficiency.
