On February 27th, 2023, Milford Police report that officers were dispatched to the Milford Bank located at 1455 Boston Post Road on the report of a bank robbery.
According to the police report, the suspect passed a note to the teller demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect took over $7,000 before fleeing in a vehicle.
The investigation led to the arrest of Scott Watkins, 41, of 48 Glenwood Ave, Stratford. He was arrested and charged with: Robbery 2nd Degree Larceny 3rd Degree Watkins is being held on a $150,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Milford Court on May 18, 2023.
