Diamond Properties and Diamond Hospitality Group shared the spirit of the holiday season by taking part in a fundraiser to support the Community Center of Northern Westchester.

Last month, the Mount Kisco companies participated in a holiday fundraiser at Grand Prix New York (GPNY). Along with nine other companies, the groups came together to collect canned goods and raise much needed funds for the Community Center’s Food Pantry.

The local businesses took part in the 2015 Holiday Party and Food Drive at GPNY in Mount Kisco, collecting 459 pounds of food and raised $1,845 in cash donations. The event featured a live broadcast of "The Clubhouse" sports radio show on WGCH-AM 1490. PGA Pro Brian Crowell and Mark Jeffers hosted a two-hour Clubhouse Holiday Special live from GPNY.

“We were happy to team up with the local business community and bring some holiday cheer to those in need,” Mark E. Blandford, Senior Vice President of Diamond Properties, said. “It was a wonderful event for a really important cause.”

Nat Mundy, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Diamond Hospitality Group, agreed. “Throughout the year, it’s important for our company to give something back to the community on a consistent basis. The holiday party helped raise critical donations for families in need.”

Holiday Party sponsors included: Corporate Audio Visual Services, Gerety Building and Restoration, Grand Prix New York, Home Green Advantage, Pow'r Against Tobacco, Tasteful Treats and Treasures, Tompkins Excavating, WGCH, and 2undr.

“The Community Center is very grateful for the wonderful support from all of the sponsors. These donations of food and funds help the Community Center fulfill its mission of alleviating hunger in our community,” said Sherry Wolf, the Center’s Executive Director.

Co-host Brian Crowell said he loves taking part in the live radio broadcast each holiday season.

“The annual "Christmas Spectacular" has greater purpose, and it's by far our favorite show of the year,” Crowell said. “This episode is really an event designed to get our family, friends and supporters together and help gather food, and raise money and awareness for the Community Center of Northern Westchester.”

"The area businesses and our local community once again generously supported the food drive,” added Clubhouse Co-host Mark Jeffers. “It was a great night for a great cause."
