NOAA Issues Winter Weather Advisory for Areas of Connecticut & Westchester

Winter Weather Advisory tonight through early Friday afternoon

Accumulating snow is forecast late tonight through early Friday afternoon as low pressure passes to the south and east of Long Island. 
* Precipitation may initially begin as a rain/snow mix around midnight before transitioning to all snow from north to south early Friday morning.
* The heaviest snow will likely occur during the Friday morning commute.
* Snow tapers off from northwest to southeast late Friday morning into early Friday afternoon. 
* A winter weather advisory goes into effect 10 pm tonight and continues through 2 pm Friday.
