Historic Downtown Ossining Gears Up for the 36th Annual Village Fair Saturday June 10, 2017

Westchester’s largest street fair is expecting thousands of guests this year for a fun-filled day of activities for all ages.  Hosted by The Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce, the annual event will be held Saturday, June 10th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Rain date: Sunday June 11) in Historic Downtown Ossining on Main & Spring Streets directly off  Route  9.  The event will kick-off at 10 am, with an opening ceremony on the Main Stage, followed by a Flag Day ceremony by the BPOE Elks Lodge #1486.  Guests can expect exciting things at the 36th Annual Ossining Village Fair including: Over 195 Food, Craft, Merchandise & Organizational Vendor/Booths, 4 Entertainment Stages, Children’s Rides, Games & Entertainment, Ossining PBA Dunk a Cop booth, and Ossining Fire Department & Ambulance Corps Children’s Outreach Stations.

Newly added features at the event this year include a special area with Wine, Beer and Food from all over the Hudson Valley including Captain Lawrence and Six Degrees Brewery. Included in the event will be local Food Trucks such as Walter's, Put Some Meat on Your Bones (featuring delicious grilled cheese sandwiches), Farm to Table Mexican, and Grub Hub featuring Philly Cheese Steaks.  Mike Risko Music is performing and running the Market Square Stage and there will be live entertainment featuring Sondad abd Soul Projekt as well as an added stage run by Sleepy Hollow Performing Arts which recently opened in Ossining  “It’s a day when the Chamber and the Community at-large show their spirit and dedication. In years past, this event has hosted over 18,000 attendees. This year, we are looking forward to another fantastic event,” said GOCC Chamber President, Gayle Marchica.
