Cindy Sites' Go Figure Barre Studios span the nation with the opening of her latest venture in California.
Not all CEO's wear suits and ties. Cindy Sites, founder of Go Figure, a nationwide micro-chain of luxury barre studios wears yoga pants and a tank top – yet, she's just as successful. From her home in New Canaan, this savvy entrepreneur oversees ten Go Figure locations that stretch from Fairfield County to Palm Beach, Florida, and across the country to Scottsdale, Arizona. On March 17, her empire will reach the Pacific when she opens her latest licensed studio in Carmel-by-the-Sea in California.
Excited to bring her unique ballet-inspired method to women across the country, Sites says, "Being able to share my passion for ballet and fitness through this effective exercise method has been a life-changing experience. There's nothing more gratifying than helping others to become healthier, stronger, and more fit. Oh...and there's that fabulous physique that you'll develop at Go Figure, but that's just a bonus!"
A classically trained dancer, Sites opened her first Go Figure Barre Studio in Greenwich twelve years ago. Since then, she's opened ten owned and licensed studios, including three additional locations in Fairfield County (Darien, New Cannan and Westport).
Although she's been busy building her empire, Sites still stays active in the arts community, serving on the board of the School of American Ballet and as a trustee at the American Ballet Theater for more than 20 years. She also had the honor of having served on George W. Bush's President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities working closely with Laura Bush on developing after-school programs for underserved youth.
Go Figure studios can be found throughout Fairfield County (Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, and Westport); in Westchester (Armonk, Rye); Nantucket, Massachusetts; Palm Beach, Florida; Scottsdale, Arizona; Potomac, Maryland; and Carmel-by-the-Sea, California
