Identical Twin Sisters Judy & Joy will Drink Pink with us at Bernard's

We are tickled pink that dynamic duo Judy & Joy, twin sisters, television personalities, and Italian chefs extraordinaire will be part of our 6th Annual Drink Pink event on Wednesday, October 14 at Bernard's (20 West Lane, Ridgefield).

Judy Vig and Joy Paoletti are identical twins who live in Connecticut. Both are self-taught, Italian American cooks, television personalities and cookbook authors. They have a unique approach to cooking and life - Judy has recently celebrated her third year of being a breast cancer survivor. Their delicious recipes are created two ways - the ‘traditional’ way prepared by Joy and the ‘healthy’ twist created by Judy. Between them they have seven wonderful children – five girls and two boys.

October is breast cancer awareness month and Judy and Joy are tirelessly campaigning for women to get annual mammograms. Advocates for healthy living - the twins want to provide the public with a better understanding of nutrients, physical wellbeing and to teach families how to make better food choices - by cooking healthier alternative dishes from scratch.

Live music, cocktails, nibbles, and the color pink will be the backdrop for an evening of friendship and camaraderie that supports Danbury Hospital Breast Cancer Program and Ann’s Place - two local nonprofit organizations that help cancer victims, survivors and their caregivers. Each attendee is asked for a $20 donation at the door - 100% of which will be donated to the two nonprofits.

Ann Nyberg interviewed Judy and Joy last week. Watch the clip on WTNH here.

Please join us at Bernard's on Wednesday, October 14 beginning at 6:00 pm.
